Asian Breast Reduction Plastic Surgery
Some of the most popular procedures for Asians in the United States revolve around trying to look less “ethnic” and more like they carry some genetic compound of european decent. In developed Asian countries where elective plastic surgery procedures are performed enough to be accurately counted, breast reduction has surprisingly been popular. In a culture that doesn’t quite stress the importance of large breast like western society, breast reduction is usually performed on patients for practical reasons as well as aesthetic reasons, although rare. Most breast reduction procedures are for patients who have or had breast cancer. In America most asians are candidates for breast implants since eastern nationalities are naturally small breasted. The problem is that most asian women have much smaller frames and therefore increasing breast size can be tricky to avoid implants that do not look natural. In America, the cost of plastic surgery is much different from clinics overseas so there is a lot of discussion between patients if they are considering surgery abroad to save money.
